Max Henry, CEO
As Chief Executive Officer for over two and a half years, Max manages day-to-day
operations and provides overall leadership in delivering Topica's Online Marketing
and Sales Solution. Max has 29 years of experience leading Internet, consumer,
and business to business technology companies. With a strong background in sales,
business and financial management, he has a proven track record of success.
His experience includes founding and operating Humming Bird Leadership, a leadership
consulting and coaching firm serving clients worldwide. Before joining Topica,
Max served as CEO at PrivateExpress, where he built the world's first "Digital
Courier Delivery" Company, the "FedEx of the Internet". During
this time he was also the Chairman of Stardust Technologies for over 7 years
which was sold to Penton Media in 1999. Prior to Private Express, Max held the
position of President and Chief Operating Officer for Fabrik Communications
(sold to Critical Path), where he grew the organization from 5 to 75 people
in a two-year period to create the leading business messaging company as measured
by the Electronic Messaging Association (EMA). He also worked closely with Steve
Jobs for 4 and a half years to help build NeXT Computer which was eventually
sold to Apple for 400 million+. Max has held other leadership positions at Information
Access Company (sold to Thomson for 465 million), JSB President North America
(now SurfControl/Websense NASDAQ: WBSN 300mil Corporation) and U.S. West Information Systems (sold to US Telstar).
Jeffrey Lee, CFO
As CFO, Jeff is responsible for the daily operations of Topica's Finance
and Accounting departments. Jeff has over 20 plus years of management
and accounting experience in high technology companies including
ARGOSystems, where Jeff was an integral member of the cross
functional software and process implementation team and the financial
management team. More recently, Jeff was Controller at FastForward
Networks and helped to spearhead the M&A activities with Inktomi.
His experience also includes financial management roles at
Quicksilver Technology and a Sarbanes Oxley advisor at Applied Signal
Technology.
Andrea Edwards, VP,
Sales
As Vice President of Sales at Topica, Andrea is responsible for providing
leadership and vision for Topica's product sales efforts. Andrea
brings over 15 years of experience in sales and sales management to
Topica. Prior to joining Topica, Andrea was a Strategic Account
Manager at Oracle, responsible for sales of technology database
products within eight major strategic accounts nationwide. Previous
to Oracle, Andrea was a sales executive for Pitney Bowes, executing
sales to top businesses within San Francisco's Financial District.
Andreas experience also includes sales and leadership roles at SBC
Communications.
Walid Ezzeddine, VP, Customer Success
Walid has been with Topica since 2006 and is responsible for managing the
Customer Success team. Walid and his team provide marketing
consultation and technical support for Topica's largest
clients. Prior to joining Topica, Walid worked as a Project Manager
and copy-editor for a prominent newswire agency. He has over 8 years
of experience in customer support and internet marketing. Walid
holds a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Pre Law and Creative Writing
from American University.
Finn Gjerdrum, VP, Customer Care
As Vice President of Customer Care at Topica, Finn is responsible for
overseeing the marketing as well as technical support for over 1400
of Topica's clients. Finn has over 12 years of internet
marketing experience as well as over 20 years in the customer support
and sales field. He was first hired by Topica for a two-week
temporary position and has now been with the company for over 10
years. Prior to joining Topica, Finn has held numerous customer
support positions at such places as iBuyline, Inc. and received
leadership training during his years with the U.S. Army.
Lindsay McMurdo, Senior
Marketing Director/Customer Success Director
As Senior Marketing Director, Lindsay is responsible for leading
Topica's marketing and branding efforts. Lindsay has been with
Topica since 2007 where she first started as a Customer Success
Manager. Working in both the Marketing and Customer Success
departments of Topica, Lindsay is able to give a hands-on creative
approach to her clients. She has over 7 years experience in the
customer service industry and over 3 years experience in marketing.
Lindsay holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Printmaking and Art
History from Ohio University.
Maurizio Caio, TLcom Capital Partners
Maurizio is a founder and Managing Partner of TLcom Capital
Partners, where he focuses on network infrastructure and
corporate applications of communication technology since the firm
foundation in 1999. He currently serves on the boards of
PacketFront, Netscalibur in Italy, and Topica in the US. Prior to
TLcom, he was a founding partner of Bain & Company in Italy and
was - until April 1999 - a Director of Bain & Company, leading
the firm’s European telecom/technology practice, and serving
clients from the firm’s European and San Francisco offices.
Previously he was with McKinsey and Company in Europe, focusing
on technology and growth strategy. He has spent 15 years advising
CEO’s and senior management of European and Silicon Valley
telecommunications and technology companies on strategy,
operations, commercial development and partnerships. Maurizio has
a Summa cum Laude Laurea degree in Business Administration from
Bocconi University in Milan and New York University, and an MBA
from Stanford University. He also served as a Professor and
Research Fellow in Strategic Planning and Control at Bocconi
University in Milan and as an Instructor of Information
Technology at the Stanford University Graduate School of
Business. He is based in London.
